Privacy Policy

Minutiq turns a recording or a transcript into meeting minutes. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how long we keep it. It covers Minutiq only, not any site we link to.
The short version
We do not keep your meetings. Your upload is deleted as soon as it has been processed, and the minutes we produce are held only long enough for your browser to collect them — about an hour — after which they are gone. We have no archive of your meetings, no way to read them back, and nothing to hand over if someone asks.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your recordings or minutes to train any model.
What we collect
Meeting content
The audio, video or transcript you upload, the transcript produced from it, and the minutes generated from that. You provide this deliberately, and it is used for one purpose: producing the document you asked for.
An uploaded file is stored briefly in object storage so the machine doing the processing can read it, and is deleted when processing finishes. A storage rule removes anything left behind within a day. The resulting transcript and minutes are held in temporary storage and expire within an hour.
Please do not upload recordings you are not entitled to share. Recording a conversation without the consent of the people in it is unlawful in many places, and that obligation rests with you, not with us.
Account information
If you create an account we store your email address and an encrypted password, handled for us by Supabase. If you subscribe, we store a customer reference and your subscription status. We never see or store your card details — those go directly to Stripe.
Usage counters
To enforce the limits of each plan we record a count of uploads against an identifier and a time period. For signed-in users that identifier is your account. For guests it is a random token stored in a cookie, together with a one-way hash of your IP address so that clearing the cookie does not reset the free allowance. We cannot recover an IP address from that hash. These counters hold no meeting content and are deleted after 60 days.
Cookies
We use two, both strictly necessary, and no advertising or analytics cookies:
- meeting_guest_token — a random identifier so guest uploads can be counted against the daily limit. Expires after a year.
- Session cookies — set by Supabase to keep you signed in.
Who else processes it
We rely on the following providers. Each acts on our instructions, and each has its own policy.

These providers operate internationally, so your data may be processed outside the country you are in.

Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, to object to processing, or to complain to a data protection authority. Because we hold no meeting content, such a request is limited in practice to your account and your usage counters.

Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit. Passwords are hashed, never stored in readable form. Access to production systems is limited to those who operate the service. No system is perfectly secure, but keeping nothing is the strongest protection we can offer, and it is the choice we have made.
Children
Minutiq is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be notified to account holders by email.
