Help & Support
Common questions, and how to get better minutes.
Frequently asked
What files can I upload?Audio (mp3, m4a, wav, aac, flac, ogg, opus, wma), video (mp4, mov, webm, mkv, avi) on the Pro plan, and transcripts as .txt, .md, .docx, .srt or .vtt. You can also paste a transcript directly.
How long does it take?Roughly a minute of processing for every ten minutes of audio, depending on load. Pasted transcripts skip transcription entirely and are much faster.
Are my recordings stored? No. The uploaded file is deleted as soon as processing finishes. Generated minutes live in temporary storage for one hour so you can download them, then expire.
Can I change the structure of the minutes?Yes. The template on the upload screen is editable Markdown. Add, remove or rename sections and the generated minutes will follow your structure.
Which languages are supported?English (US and UK), Malay, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Japanese, Korean and Indonesian. The whole document is written in the language you pick, not just translated headings.
Why was my upload rejected?Usually the recording is longer than your plan allows, the file is larger than the size limit, or it is a video and you are not on Pro. The error message will say which.
Tips for better results
- Record in a quiet room; background noise costs accuracy more than microphone quality.
- Ask people to say their name before speaking so attributions land correctly.
- Keep the template sections short and specific for sharper minutes.
- If you already have a transcript, paste it: it is faster and more accurate than re-recording.
Still stuck?
If a meeting fails to process, note the time it happened and the file type you used — that is usually enough to pinpoint the cause.
